Christmas Day games on Netflix. Y’all see where this is going? First Thursday nights on Prime and now Netflix on Christmas.

It's going where the money is, that isn't a new thing. The day Congress allowed the NFL to keep its anti-trust exemption and still broadcast games on a cable-only service (ESPN) was the day the die was set for this. That was many many years ago.

I’ll worry about it when the Saints play on Christmas Day. Until then I don’t care who’s playing today I’m not interested.

The top tier of Netflix and Prime together is way cheaper than cable. When was the last time you complained about things only being on cable?

I don’t complain about any of it. I was just pointing out this migration began a long time ago.

I hate the overseas games and Thursday Night Football games more than the streaming service games.

"I'll worry about it when the Saints play on Christmas."

A local station of both teams playing picks up the live broadcast of any game accessible by streaming only.

Spend the rest of Christmas day with your family. Both games are on NFL Network later tonite. Just steer clear of the scores, and watch the games tonight.

Problems solved. Thank me later.

Maybe initially.

Amazon, peacock, hulu has all figured it out.

Netflix will be streaming WWE raw live every week. And it's not like they'll have the massive audience for NFL/WWE like they did for that sorry arse Paul/Tyson fight. That was said to be around 60+ million. Where as NFL will maybe get around 20 on the high end.

9 times out of 10, lag is a problem at your end, not theirs.

FWIW, it's into the third quarter as i post this and I have had zero lag.

They have to go where the viewers are and the younger audience don’t have cable anymore
