California shop lifters discovered theft is again a felony in their state.

Sorry that this was already posted: this link is to a different newspaper coverage inland from Seal Beach.


Surprise surprise. Only 68.4% of the voters voted to return theft to felony status (you have to wonder why the other voters voted against it), but that was enough to lead to this band of girls having a very bad day.

They had a good thing going for a while. Go on stealing sprees... then selling the merch at a severely reduced price. Some of them turned that into a fricking business enterprise.

Many of these “entrepreneurs” will have difficulty adjusting to the new dynamic. They aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs in society.
