Over/Under on how long before Trump falls out with Elon Musk?

If I was a Vegas oddsmaker, I'd put the Over/Under at 10 months.

Part of what's made Trump so successful is his belief in self and clinical narcissism. Clinical narcissists can only share the spotlight with somebody else for so long, however.

Musk is already getting too much shine, and Trump hasn't even been inaugurated yet. My prediction is that Trump will have some random internal shite fit sooner rather than later and start ranting about Musk on social media, which is his way of breaking up with somebody.

Late October 2025 is where I'd set the betting line.

I don’t think it happens. There will be disagreements but they’ll be fine. I think it’s just something white liberals are hoping for

I said this awhile back... Just got to keep the egos in check... The dems have already tried to put a wedge between the dream team...

Depends on how long they think they need each other. Trump out a timeline on Elon and Vivek and the whole doge thing that doesn't even extend his full term.

My guess is trump wants Elon involved through at least mid terms though. After that he's not a big benefit to trump.

But really it's till their first major disagreement or ends over a fight on who is in charge.

Bernie Sanders' "President Musk" schtick is probably a good strategy.

If Trump will stew and obsess over what some random cable news person says while he's watching cable news in the morning in the White House, "President Musk" coming from Democrats in Congress probably hits that spot.

Because two narcissist rarely exist together for very long. They're both going to want credit for being the mastermind.

never

I love how the left is rooting for failure though.

You have had power for the last 4 years. You accomplished NOTHING. Why do you even pursue it?

It's all that cucks like Tim Miller, Sarah Longwell, David French talked about this last week. Not surprised to see the execrable rogertheshrubber daydreaming about the prospect a few posts up.

You're misunderstood.

Trump doesn't really need Musk after the election

but Musk really needs him

its in Musk's best interest to placate Trump and he knows it. When Trump inevitably insults Musk, Musk will just take it and won't break up

Does it even matter?

Do you think neither has had to deal with personality’s?

Do you get to be a billionaire because you’re worried about personality or goals?

Who is gonna threaten to primary every single congress member who disagrees with trump on any bill if musk isn't around? Trump ain't got that kinda cash or isn't keen to use it for that.
