Saban is gone bro. We don’t need to compare Bama to LSU anymore.

BK is doing great relative to his teams needs. This is not the benchmark however. Each team is different.

The bama sunshine pump perspective is that their roster is good enough to not need bag chasing mercenaries. While that may or may not be true, thats the other side of the coin.

After reading a couple of analyst articles, the agreed upon losers right now in order are 1) USC 2) OU 3) Alabama. These are not only not making a splash incoming but also the devastating outgoing talent. One reason I mention this is LSU can really have a pool of talent from these schools in the future...obviously already started from Oklahoma. In fact one of the articles said this will probably be Riley's last season at USC even though the buyout would be a bitch

Bama didn't even make the playoff in the first year of the 12 team expansion.

That may be true for the time being. Eventually though, it will take a toll on what made them the best program for almost 2 decades. Replaceable starting talent with 2 deep on the bench at every position. Those days are likely gone.
