White-Purple-White again for the bowl. Something has to be done.

I don’t mind a few alt jerseys here and there but this is out of hand and must be stopped.

Let’s look at the top 15 all time FBS programs by wins and tell me how many of them wear alternate jerseys as much as LSU does:

Michigan
Alabama
Ohio State
Texas
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Penn State
Nebraska
Georgia
USC
Tennessee
LSU
Clemson
Auburn
West Virginia

It’s a meaningless bowl game that most of the roster will be up-and-comings.

Stop being a woman.

Nebraska, Tenner, WVU all have a decent amount. Clemson too, at least they did back in the day with the purple. Look, I’m not a fan of rotating uniforms as much as we have either, but the bowl asked us to wear a dark jersey. The white/purple/white is a clean look

it makes the program look small time

classic power programs have classic looks

LSU had cultivated that and now seem intent on undoing it

cultivating a classic, recognizable feel and look is absolutely something to aspire to and hold on to and pays dividends in many ways including on the field. If you can’t see that then you’re the dumbass.

It’s not an alternate if you wear it more than once a season.

Show me any 17 year old kid in nil era that cares about a classic look. You think Oregon is undefeated because of their classic look?

You want to win then adapt.

Nike is the best for on field apparel. Auburn is switching from UA to Nike next season. Do you want the team to be sponsored by new balance?

Just when you think the fanbase has grown up over things like this, this thread starts.

You know, 3 of their 4 losses this year were in white jersey, gold helmet, gold pants. Should they not ever wear that combo again?

If it means this much to you, get a playstation and college football 25. You can have the wear whatever you want for every game.

Cowboys don’t stray too far from tradition with their uniforms and even though they suck are always among the top of the most valued franchises in the world

ETA: and I don’t think the players pick nor care
