Someone needs to make this happen. Two great stadiums, and good atmospheres

It would be good. We need a tune up game early in the season.

Perfect matchup to get ready for MSU

We already beat your arch rival App State. If we want to schedule down, we'll try another SoCon team.

Went to the Big House for the first time this year...for their only big victory against Wisconsin.
I've always heard Mich. fans bitch about the tight seating. I found it to be just fine. ND's stadium seating is WAY tighter. ND is a dump! The BH was spacious and more modernized than ND.
My biggest complaint about the BH was the weak arse fans. I literally found myself getting up on my feet and trying to get the lame a-holes around me to stand and cheer. It was pathetic. Even as the momentum changed...the fans were down right lethargic.
Tailgaiting...forget about it. TS hands down.
TS has louder, more passionate fans. The tailgating rocks. And though the BH was surprisingly comfortable, TS wins out here as well.

I'd absolutely love some good home and home games between big name colleges like Michigan.
Too bad my opinion counts for shite when the AD is scheduling.

Would be a great match-up. UM has been down but I don't expect that to last. Plus the Miles factor would make the game all the more intriguing.

This would be fun. I spent 3 years in law school at Michigan and went to numerous UM football games, including 2 classic Bo vs. Woody dustups. The atmospheres are quite different, reflecting the diffent regional football cultures. But both are enjoyable and classic. Tell your AD to call Les. And this time, it would help if you actually got through!

The best line I ever heard to describe Michigan was when Les was considering the job; the LSU fans should dress ultra preppy, drink appletinis at catered tailgate parties, golf clap when the team comes out and leave at halftime. Les would think he is already at Michigan.

The media hype would be wild. I would LOVE for this game to happen.

Interesting description. But I can assure you that it isn't describing a Michigan football game. Not even close. For starters, "preppy" is about the farthest thing from typical Michigan student attire imaginable. Catered tailgate parties? Please. Mind-altering substance of choice? If it isn't beer, it's more likely to be smoked than drunk. And to be truthful, leaving at halftime when the game isn't competitive is way more of a problem at LSU than it is at Michigan.

Woody Hayes was one crazy SOB. I guess you could say the Bobby Knight of NCAA football.

That line was quoted to me by a guy who was excited for months about going to a Michigan-Iowa game, he wanted to see a game in the Big House. He came back very disappointed, he said that was the quietest 100,000 people he had ever heard. I have never been there myself, I'll take his word for it.
