Portalling is fun when you got the cash.

It’s obvious Stewart is gonna transfer when Riley gets fired. We’ll see if he wants to come back home then, I got no issues if he looks like the real deal. This is just the way things are gonna be from now on for these highly rated 5 stars.

He's a much better athlete than Sopsher IMO.

We'll see how his attitude is.

I was with BK regarding building the roster through recruiting. We absolutely had to lean heavily in recruiting to fill the massive holes in the roster.

Now that we’ve had some cycles and the portal meta has come to be understood more, we are leaning hard into the portal.

A key item to keep in mind now is that any player can transfer at any time, so in a way recruits are almost more of a risk than the transfer portal players with fewer years of eligibility. You have less opportunities for them to transfer.

Love the adjustment. The receipts talk is legitimate. This program is hungry and they are coming to play.

I’d say he has a much better work ethic. Sopsher looked like how you would draw up a SEC prospect when he was ranked #1, then went into his SR year looking like a FCS nose tackle. He basically quit working thinking he made it before he got to school. Stewart was a huge 8th grader who became more physically impressive as he got older. Remains to be seen if he maintains this level of commitment, but he seems to have a solid work ethic.

There’s a circus around Stewart trying to pump him out for money tho, so that’s the off field mess that will follow him to SoCal

we’ll see. doesn’t seem like he enjoys money more than playing football, given he barely plays football.

He’s only played in what 6/8 real games anyway. He could be a complete dud. He’s good in camps but that ain’t really much for dline. I’ll take our proven guys

Not sure how his work ethic is, but he sure turned his back on his teammates this year. It’s not like St. Aug is some bottom dweller school. They’ve been pumping out D1 players for years.

Exactly. Who knows? Kid might be great but he hasn’t put anything on film except in spandex.
