LSU’s first signee out of the portal was a physical tight end, wouldn’t be surprised if they add another inline blocking tight end in the portal as well. Hopefully we see much more 12 personnel next year and a commitment to the running game. This will help Nuss find explosive plays down the field in play action. I know he’s recruited well but personally I’d like to see a switch at o-line coach, Daniels hid a lot of our deficiencies in the run game with his scrambling ability in ‘23.

The tight end from the portal isn't really physical.

It’s going to be the same playbook and the same offensive philosophy every year as long as Brian Kelly is head coach.

I think the goal, as always, is to have a balanced attack, with playaction being the preferred method in the passing game.

Hasn't been the case bc the offensive line couldn't open holes for the running game to consistently be effective and set up the passing game.

Hopefully, with a stable of running backs with some pedigree and new blood on the offensive line, we can start to run a bit more and be more creative and diverse in running calls than a shotgun, single back set with the odds on favorite play, that being a HB dive between center and guard for 1 1/2 yards or less. Frustrating.

Correct, which is a lot of 2 & 3 tight end sets. Didn’t have the personnel to run it this year.

Idk if Hurley could be the guy, but we need a package for a physical qb in short yardage and red-zone I.e. Zach Pyron at Ga. Tech. as well.

That HAS to happen or it will be a disaster in 25.

If BK doesn't openly see that and make a change he's blind and in denial. (He didn't have a problem in cleaning HOUSE with the Defensive Staff after last season)

With BK/Sloan (The Kelloan Monster) as Co-OC's, instead of Denbrock.

It appears our offensive line spacing may be a little too tight. What do you thing? Could that be part of the problem?

I would love to see Caden Durham and Berry in a bruising two RB tandem, wrecking shite. I miss the running game so much for LSU. Never thought I’d say that!

Throw deep incompletion on first down, 2 yard run second down, deep incompletion on third down. Exactly what we saw all this season.

Can't believe I'm saying this but we could've used a Full back or Hback to block for our runs this past year with the OLine struggling.

The biggest thing that will help the run game is not giving up on it so soon.
