Congrats to Hank Tierney, back at Shaw HS, where he won his last title. Pretty wild to win two titles 37 years apart.

1987 State Champion coaches:

Haynesville: “Red” Franklin
Jonesboro-Hodge: Walter Causey
John Curtis: JT Curtis
Archbishop Shaw: Hank Tierney

Now 37 years later all four coaches have won multiple titles.

Zero competition in that division but it’s impressive he’s getting some players back through Shaw

It was the weakest division and his main competition was declared ineligible for the playoffs

And the guy from Shaw.

Didn’t realize Franklin was still alive. How old is he now?
