After watching several youtube videos and reading reviews, I ordered a set of Takomo 101t irons with Fujikura Atmos Red S graphite shafts. I could not resist the price, even though I still love my Callaway Apex Smoke 2019 irons.

Anyone playing the 101t's? Since I wasn't fitted for these, I don't really know what to expect but I'm excited to hit em.

I had some back in mid-2023. They looked nice, but I hated the feel. To be fair, I haven’t hit any hollow bodied irons that I have liked the feel of, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

It’s an acquired taste.

The Srixon zx4 mkii series have been the only hollow bodies that I’ve liked.

I have them. Been hitting for almost two years now. I upgraded from some 17 year old nike NDSs so it was a big jump in tech. I like them. They have seemed to help my game alot, and they were the right price for sure.

Just bought some 2 months ago and played a couple rounds with them. Upgraded from 20 year old callaway irons so a big jump in tech for me as well but I love my Takomos. Definitely hitting much more consistent and they’re very forgiving. Still ironing out my yardages but they’ve added length to what I was used to for sure. I’m very happy with them

I play the 201's, they're forged and pretty forgiving but I only play the 6-P.

Switched from Srixon Z745s only because the grooves were worn from so many years.

The 201s are slightly more forgiving than the 745s, thought about the 101ts but I can't handle a non forged 8-P.

Takomo should offer a 101t 201 mixed set imo.

I went from a Srixon to a hollow body, and the feel took a while to get used to. However, when you know you mishit one, and it still goes relatively straight, you can get used to the feel quick.
