Mike VI the Tiger

I just read the article "Dalton Hilliard and the Death Valley Experience" and the Washington player quoted in the article mentioned that “There was a live tiger outside our locker room pacing back and forth in a cage”. I have read in many articles and heard lots of opposing coaches and players talk about the live tiger in the stadium and the intimidation factor that this brings. My question is what is LSU going to do to get Mike VI to go to the games this year? I know they had trouble getting him into the trailer last year and he did not attend many, if any of the games. This is a big concern of mine and we cannot let this continue. What can be done?

I agree with you. It sucked that he went to almost no games last year.

Probably will just have to find a new tiger.

exactly
we need to use this opportunity to trade up and get a liger

I think if he pulls that shot next year y'all have no choice but to dart his arse and drag him into the cage.

Guys, it's just going to take a little time. Roscoe was older than the last Mike who was raised at LSU from a cub...he'll get there but part of being responsible caretakers of a Tiger is making sure that we don't piss him off! The folks caring for Mike will get it done...patience!

I agree - time for him to "crap or get off the pot".

Did not know this. I thought it was just because this tiger was new to the experience and they didn't want to throw him into the death valley experience right off. Ease him into it. Not that he wouldn't go into the cage.

my wife was told by one of his attendants it's an age thing...like he is a "teenager" and they can't make him do anything he doesn't really want to do.
And it has nothing to do with how the players play.

he did not like the way the team played

He needs a bigger trailer. He's going to be about twice the weight of Mike V when he is fully grown.

How hard can it be to get a tiger into a cage? I say they load him into the cage on Friday night. Just back the cage up to his habitat and throw a huge arse raw steak in there.

He was spearheading the efforts against Mallveto by not going to the games. I think he will respond much better to Brick and Chavis.

Supposedly, they tried meat to lure him into the cage and he didn't budge.

What are you from PETA or something? I guess we don't want to hurt the wittle baby tigers poor feewings do we. Put his arse in the cage. Roll him into the stadium. He lives in a luxurious habitat compared to most other wild animals and has better healthcare than the majority of Americans. I pitched in my money to build that habitat. If I expect that tiger to be in the stadium 8 times a year then they should be able to make it happen. How do you think they get those big mean arse bulls to the rodeo. You think they ask the bull if he would like to go out and play today? No, they put his arse in the trailer and take him to the rodeo. Put the tiger in the cage and roll his arse over by the opponents locker room and if he is pissed off about it then good, maybe he will growl at somebody.

I dont know why but it irks the shite out of me when people call him Roscoe. He became a Mike as soon as he stepped on campus.
