Bottom of my right foot, sort of between the bottom of the big toe and mid-foot. Feels like a bone type of pain but when i press on that area i don’t really feel anything. Sort of an aching/bruised type of pain. Turf toe maybe?

Eta- not gout. It isn’t all swollen and no one in my family has ever had it plus i eat pretty clean. I have a couple turf toe symptoms but not the range of motion or “looseness.”

Have the exact same pain.. went to foot ortho and they did x-ray, said looked great but has some arthritis in the joint and a small bone spur. No treatment, told me to stop doing lunges.

Try a pair of carbon fiber inserts for that shoe for $30 off of Amazon before you go wasting money at the doctor.

Everyone always screams gout as soon as you mention the big toe. The PA told me to switch from the treadmill to a bike, so clearly she meant stop cardio altogether, lol. Probably just an overstressed tendon.

It’s very common and I used to have it. It went away after a LONG while for me. So painful tbh

Look up Morton’s Neuroma, I’d check out a PT or Ortho (if you wanna go MRI route) but could be this

Neuroma possibly. Feels like you have a pebble in your shoe all the time? Between the joint of your big toe and the second toe?

Nah more like right below that capsule or whatever right below the big toe. Probably gonna go check out some inserts tomorrow. See if that helps. I’m gonna get some new workout shoes too because the ones i use now are getting pretty worn which won’t help.

Sesamoiditis.

But I also wouldn’t totally rule out Morton’s neuroma or metatarsalgia.

Yup that might be it. I played basketball for years and kinda have a bad habit of keeping my heels off the ground when i am seated.

I had this too. Even got some ‘dancer pads’ to use when running. Again, toe spacers, zero drop minimal footwear, and foot exercises cured it.

Slid one of these under the big toe in a couple pairs of shoes and it’s definitely helped. Not comfortable but definitely helps cushion that area.
