Newsflash: Clemson Is NOT Going To Back Out of a Guaranteed Win To Start 2025

First off, I don't see Dabo as the type that would back out of a game like this anyway.
Second, Clemson has the nucleus of that team coming back next year. That is a team clearly on the rise, improving, and winning consistently. Something we aren't used to seeing in Baton Rouge. Not to mention they just won their conference. Yeah yeah, it's the ACC...at least they played last weekend. We didn't.
Third, Dabo is aware of how well Big Mouth Brian has LSU prepared for opening week. This will be his chance at the end of the 2025 season to say "yeah, we beat the snot out of a solid SEC program to open the season" while padding his playoff resume.
Clemson isn't stupid. They want this game and I doubt they allow LSU to back out.

We wait all year for college football to kick off. A big game is awesome. The only reason we’re bitching is because we’re losing them.
Maybe, instead of being scared to play these games we start winning them instead?

Oh, I'm not bitching about the big games. I'm whining about the coaching staff that will consistently keep losing these games. I remember the days of opening with Oregon, TCU, etc, when we would actually in the games or at least be competitive in them.

Brian Kelly could be 2-1 easily in season openers if not for some bad luck against FSU in 2022 and also against USC in 2024. Then this BS narrative would be completely different.

LOL. Bad luck? Losing to a 5 loss team this year is not bad luck. That is piss poor game planning and coaching.
Same with 2022. Piss poor coaching and game planning cost that game, along with shitty special teams, something we still see three years later.

I was also one of those that thought his approach to the portal and transfers would blow up in his face. Clearly wrong. He will have that program in the playoffs consistently competing for titles again.

Not very much about Clemson the past few seasons has been on the rise. They have clearly been in a decline from where they were.

Clemson has been missing the playoffs consistently. They backed their way into it this year by winning a shitty conference.

Here’s an idea, avoid canceling the game.
Sack up and play Clemson like we signed in to do.
Win or Lose, you live up to what you said you’d do.
Go get in this damn portal, and do the following,
Brian needs to PREPARE this team BEFORE the game and not talk about how we were surprised by what they did but somehow they were not surprised by what we did.
Brian needs to make in game adjustments for any deficiencies or surprises.
The list goes on and on but yall stop being a bunch of pansies for a year-four-Brian Kelly. Clemson doesn’t even portal well. There are no excuses.
