Fun Belt Conference Coach of the Year: Louisiana Ragin Cajuns Mike Desormeaux

I was one, like quite a few here, who thought this was just a complete lazy-arse hire coming off the momentum Billy Napier built up. The bowl game loss to Jacksonville State last year was an embarrassing disaster.
But hell, maybe this baw from New Iberia is going prove a bunch of us wrong. I hope he does, because he's a legit good dude.
Record as Head Coach of the Cajuns:
6-7
6-7
10-2 currently and hosting the Sun Belt Championship game
Still wish he'd find an actual offensive coordinator to handle play-calling so he can focus more on just overall game management and head coaching.

He/She is a strange cat. Our university and athletic program is irrelevant, yet he/she seems to pay attention to it about as much as I do.
