LSU is going to a mid tier bowl game. Should kelly play as many 1s that are available, or maybe sit key pieces that are coming back, and will be needed next year, and let 2s and 3s play?

Play to win. Burn redshirts, whatever.

The cynic in me looks forward to the day teams need to hold walk on tryouts in December because the NIL players refuse to play unless its playoff game.

Absolutely. Bowl games are supposedly meaningless until you must watch your school lose. Win the game because LSU is playing in the game. LSU football has no operational purpose apart from playing football games. So play the bowl game to win it. 9-4 is much better than 8-5.

one of the best rules they came up with. I'm hoping to see some unfamiliar faces in the bowl game making an impact

All the Mediocrity Acceptors (MA's) can't wait for the upcoming Mediocrity Bowl.

Pump till your little Hearts Desire, that's all that it will be, no matter which Bowl it is or who we play.

Shoulda taken care of business against mediocre Deboerbama and Sun Belt Billy Boy and we wouldn't be whoring off to Mediocrity Land. (Any Game/Bowl that's NOT in the CFP)

Several “pundits” have LSU playing Dave Aranda’s Baylor Bears in the Texas Bowl. That would be interesting.

Is the Cheese-It Bowl still a possibility?

Or did we lose too many games?

What is all this horseshite? I can be unhappy about how the season went, yet be interested in watching the bowl game at the same time. I can't change the outcome of the season. It happened. All of our potential bowls suck balls, but it is what it is at this point.

I've seen Aggies vs Baylor in the Texas Bowl and LSU vs TCU in Memphis. I'm going with this.

Oklahoma vs USC in the Modelo Vegas Bowl

LSU vs Baylor in the TaxAct Texas Bowl

These are the newest projects I can find

They have a No. 12 ranked 10-2 team vs an unranked 8-4 team?

I don't see it.

Give me South Carolina or Ole Miss vs Miami in the Gator.

Bowl games seem less important these days… stadium is over half empty…it’s more of a practice game

I already thought you were a douchebag for all the whiny negativity and excessive superfluous capital letters….

But when you actually thought you were being clever with “mediocre DeboerBama”, then I just feel sorry for you, bless your heart.

I like the TaxAct Texas-- only a short drive to this afternoon game on New Years Eve. Would prefer some other opponent than Baylor

Unless both teams go all in for these games like they used to these are equivalent to an NFL preseason game.

Cam Ward ain't playing and Miami historically does not travel. That is why.
