Senate Democrats on Tuesday reelected Sen. Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) to serve another two years as the Senate Democratic leader and promoted Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) to the third-ranking leadership position, replacing retiring Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.).

quote:

Democratic senators voted unanimously to approve the new leadership team for the 119th Congress, showing resolve to remain unified despite their disappointing performance in the 2024 election, which cost them four Senate seats, including those held by longtime Sens. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Bob Casey (D-Pa.).

quote:

Senate Democrats reelected Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) to serve another term as whip and promoted Klobuchar to chair of the Senate Democratic Steering and Policy Committee.

Klobuchar moves up to the third-ranking Senate Democratic leadership slot, replacing Stabenow, who has served as the chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

quote:

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has been promoted to the fourth-ranking Senate Democratic leadership position as chair of the newly created Strategic Communications Committee.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.) will remain vice chairs of the Senate Democratic Conference.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will remain chair of outreach, and Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) will remain vice chair of outreach.

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) will continue serving as Senate Democratic Conference secretary, and Sens. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will serve as deputy Democratic conference secretaries.

Unlike Republicans, the Democrats stick together.

The current leadership of the Democratic Party just led them to an unequivocal defeat they haven’t experienced in 20 years. If they want to double down on those leaders, I’m fine with that.

They’re showing they’re not willing to learn. That Party is in disarray. If they keep the same philosophy, positions, and leadership, they will be irrelevant in a decade.

The last 20 mins of the rogan benz podcast explains it. Our State Dept/CIA/NGO apparatus has value. They fricked up when they turned it on US citizens and our elections.

It would have been a far greater defeat without Mitch McConnell (D-KY) doing everything possible to sabotage republicans in the swing states. I think I can still hear his drunken tantrums from when Moreno, Sheahy, and McCormick won. There is nobody he hates more than conservative voters.

Klobuchar was with Lindsey and McCain in Ukraine back around 2016, laying the groundwork for what we see now. She is also currently working with people in the UK to destroy free speech. They are trying to ruin Elon and kill X, and are working on various legislative schemes to destroy the First Amendment. She is in the top tier of people that Trump should direct his DOJ and FBI to look at and go after. If you go after her and start peeling back the layers, you are going to find a lot of stuff.

Booker is top liar in media and internet communications.

i don’t like the sounds of this

“NEWLY FORMED Strategic Communications Committee”

being head by Corey Booker

i wonder what they are targeting? sounds like all this “censorship” That Killary and Schumer and Pelosi etc…. have been stressing if you really listen to their speeches. If these people ever had their Utopia, we’d be in the book 1984 on steroids.

We have to really take these people down & real justice, all of them!

El Salvador style prisons at Gitmo, no extensive communications with each other and no connection to the real world and let them die off with old age.

public hanging for Treason and put it on pay per view.

Schumer told them if they didn’t re-elect him, they would reap the whirlwind!
