Companies continuing to offshore jobs….

Saw an article earlier today with several “Made In USA” companies that are relocating most if not all manufacturing to Mexico and Asia.
The list included Whirlpool, Hersey’s, New Balance, Craftsman Tools and several others. Obviously these plans have probably been in the works for a couple of years. Do think they reconsider these moves with the prospect of Trumps Tarrifs?

The insatiable greed of these people astounds me. These tightfisted hucksters are committing economic treason against the very nation that made them great.

That great nation has laws that hold those companies responsible for acting in the fiduciary best interest of their shareholders.
They are legally required to make as much money as they reasonably and legally can.

Wall Street has infiltrated and corrupted DC? Old news

If the US government would leave companies alone instead of regulating them into a choice of bankruptcy or moving, this discussion wouldn’t be necessary.

Why is maximizing revenue only OK for some people, but not others?

Don’t be retarded. COL in the USA is WAAAY higher than India or wherever they’re outsourcing these jobs. American workers need higher pay to pay the bills.

Maximizing revenue is ok as long as it doesn’t become economic treason.

No, those laws are primarily to protect ordinary people's retirement investments.
Those without special or extensive investment acumen.

Trump tried originally by allowing companies to repatriate their profits and it give them a break and incentivize them to bring the companies back.
It was working and then Biden got elected and didn’t focus on bringing those companies back so many companies didn’t come back and contributed to manufacture overseas. Trump needs to push for those companies that left to receive an incentive to bring their companies back to the USA.
Get out of all the trade policies that doesn’t punish the companies for moving. US companies should not have an incentive to leave the country. It’s why tariffs will work. Tim Cook has been talking to him and trying to figure a way to bring some of his manufacturing to the US without breaking his company. Give the companies a shot and if they do not come back then just tax the shite out of them.

Or I have an understanding of history an economics, something you clearly lack, which is what you'd expect from Leftists.

They don’t care. They can increase their EPS by 2%. C-suite gets massive bonuses.
Until we change the incentives, it will keep happening.
