I just power washed my drive way, side walk and patios, and wondering if it is necessary to apply concrete sealer on them.
Any advices? Thanks.

Not necessary. Won't hurt anything but definitely not necessary. Concrete is gonna do what its gonna do.

Aggregate it is necessary to keep it together, but normal concrete I don't know a reason except for aesthetics.

I have never found it to do anything. Might prevent some stains or something, but I haven’t seen any benefit.

Thank y'all.
I should check this board this morning. I didn't see the responses and went ahead for the sealing.
School is closed for Thanksgiving, so my teenager son helped me for the concrete coating. 3 hours, 6 cans of 5 gallon sealer.
This will be my first and last concrete sealing
Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone

So it will wear unevenly in high traffic areas and look bad after a couple of years so you will need to re do it or live with how it looks.

So if you sealed the concrete you'll find water puddles on top of it.
And it may be slippery.
Not a good idea unless it's a covered area.
