QB HS recruiting vs Portal pickups

Correct me if I’m wrong… 75% of the time the way it is playing out is that recruiting a QB out of high school is a waste of $ and resources bc it’s unlikely they will start that first year. They get restless and transfer out. So get QBs from the portal and recruit other players from HS. Manning and Nuss are anomalies.

100% agree, Go get a "PROVEN" Qb and quit worrying about a High School QB who is supposed to be good.. Waste of time., Unless the kid really is awesome and definitely wants to be a LSU tiger.
