Y’all remember when Zion was first drafted and Griff used to make him dunk at fan events?

We all saw it at the first few events. Zion looking fat. And then at the end Griff goes “Who wants to see Zion dunk?” And then Zion whiffs a few stylish dunks before finally hitting a two hander that everyone fake cheered for? It was so fricking obvious from the start that he was a disappointment. I expected a Vince Carter athlete, maybe better. We got a slob.

Zion’s All Star game debut was one of the most embarrassing All Star games of all time. Gumbo was whiffing dunks left and right. And that was the year he was probably in his best shape.
We were supposed to get the best athlete in the nba. However, Zion is sometimes not even a top 3-4 athlete, on the court on any given night due to his weight.
Javonte Green is a far more explosive fastbreak finisher than year 6 Zion.

Preseason rookie Zion looked to be in amazing shape, no different than Duke Zion.
