Two week before signing day…

This fricking kid rlly waited TWO WEEKS before signing day where we have no time to get a backup option to spurn us ? Im all for kids getting paid but it’s clear as day he used us to get the highest possible offer from fricking Michigan and then dropped us like a bad habit when they met his money demands. NIL has destoryed any morals and believing a word these kids say it’s fricking ridiculous

Didn’t we hire our coach when Notre Dame was in the midst of a playoff race?
Didn’t we pay him ungodly amounts of money?
This is the nature of the beast. Can’t love it when it suits you and hate it when it burns you. Just have to be better - and we ain’t right now.

We have plenty of time. We are in no immediate need for a QB. We can fill through the portal as well. NIL money is now free of some other positions we have a more immediate need.
Not downplaying the loss but we still have a solid QB room that can win. Class of 27 # 1 QB is from Baton Rouge. Nuss, Hurely, Haven we are in good hands. Nuss will improve in his second season starting.

Good post. Never thought of that. It's the nature of the beast in today's college football. Either be better or fricking deal with it. LSU has serious work to do.

Even before NIL, I never believed any recruit until they signed the paper work. I don't see why anyone would believe what comes out of a 17 year olds mouth. Most of the time their minds change whichever direction the wind blows.

Further evidence nil, transfer portal and early signing days need some guard rails. It’s really getting out of hand. I’m not saying it’s totally ruining the sport like a lot of the masses but definitely having a negative impact.

This never passed the sniff test to me. I hope he plays well, and I'm not going to blame him if he really was able to get that kind of $ out of Michigan. We have a ton of other things to work on still...like:
1. Keeping this signing class intact as best we can. Apparently there are more flips coming.
2. Keep as many of our guys out of the portal. Apparently we will be sad once next weekend gets here.
3. Coaching staff changes...Is Sloan gone? Is Bo Davis leaving? etc.
Not going to spend much of my time worrying about Underwood. Like many have said, we need to now pivot to the Louisiana guys coming up in high school. Haven is great, but believed to be over living in Louisiana. Hopefully we can change that.
