Start with a Four team playoff...keep it simple. use BCS poll to determine top 4...let them battle it out...that's just two weekends of games...play two games one weekend, and then the championship game 2-3 weeks later.

So you're saying use the original four BCS games, then let the four winners of those games play it out?
If so, that's the only way to do it.

I'm a BCS fan, but I'd be OK with a 4 or 6 team playoff, but DEFINITELY NOT 8 or more.
