I always thought Kelly was a technician of the game without the players that were needed to win a championship.

This is true BK produces mentally weak teams. They also aren’t nearly as physical as they need to be.
I mean his ND 2012 team that made the nc game pissed themselves in the tunnel at the sight of bama.

Two minor things told me he is soft. First is the Coaches show. Saban did not use screeners. He just took the calls and fired away. Didn't give a damn,e even when Coolidge called and asked about cavities in the defense.
Second is when he cancelled the Gridiron Club luncheons at Drusilla's. Just little things that told me he is soft, doesn't like interacting with the public. Now the little things are big things.

That team had no business being in th NC. None of BKs teams at ND did. In every single big game, he always gets his doors blown off. Nothing has changed except the colors he wears on the sidelines.

Not just mentally soft, but physically soft. It’s hard to believe how weak this team is physically. That type of change doesn’t happen in a vacuum. How can any coach associated with this team not understand the importance of being physically strong?
