NIL/transfer portal era has changed the landscape

There are no dominant teams out there this year. Sure, the Tigers are not beating teams they should but I think navigating the changes is having a bigger impact than coaching or talent.

Probably some truth to this statement…recruiting until this year and portal production outside of JD5 has been average.

I agree that it seems like any team can lose to any team in the playoffs which is exciting and fun and great for the sport
HOWEVER that is not the reason why LSU has underperformed this year. Bad coaching + bad recruiting = bad results

Some athletes play football to achieve financial success.. each one has a different view of what that is.. some kids play football to become the best athlete at their position and financial rewards will come with that…
