Y’all are killing the high. It’s been a week since the GOAT political comeback. I get it’s not ideal and may slow the agenda some, but we’ve won bigly in other areas and will continue to do so.

Here’s smokeshow Alina Habba to make you feel better

Agreed. Think about what he did with everything pulling against him. He's got the wind in his sails this go-round.

Never mind the fact that the Vice President technically has the last word in Senate power.

Remember: it was Kamala that passed the Inflation Reduction Act.

Use Vance as a tiebreaker, problem solved.

No need for the Thune gloom & doom

The appointment of Thune killed the high.

If we indeed hold the House, we only have two almost guaranteed years to implement the Agenda. Installing a NeoCon Establishment Warmonger who only votes with conservatives 2/3rds of the time into such a powerful position, isn't a very exciting proposition.

Even Scott wasn't the best option, but far better than Thune. shite, we're better off keeping Johnson honestly.

That's the House. Decent point over all though...

I have some faith in Trump and JDV, that they'll be able to get from Thune what we need. Thune is majority leader. He doesn't get to vote for everybody. He also represents a state that voted 65% for Trump. That may not mean all we'd like it to, but it means something - particularly in a state as small as SD.

Today I was reminded that JD once said some non flattering things about Trump. So I guess people can change.

Meant to say McTurtle but I'm working and brain is fried from being pissed off about some of this political nonsense going down today. Won't correct the post, but I really did mean to type out McTurtle.

All these damn RINOs are the same anyway.
