I've been struggling for almost 2 months with what I thought was good ole tennis elbow but I'm starting to think it may be something else.

My GP referred me to Currie in the OLOL system but I can't get in until 12/30.

Any of you have any recs for a good sports medicine guy/girl in the BR/Ascension area?

Thanks in advance

I would try this if you haven't before going to a Dr. It completely fixed my elbow and is free.

Thanks dude. I'll give it a shot. I don't mind pushing through the pain as long as I have reason to believe its helping.

He's talking about golfers elbow though. Will this work for tennis too? My pain is on the outside of the elbow at the tendon.

It works the same, you irritate the tendon to make it heal.

Mine went from killing me to fine in less than 2 weeks.

Correct.

You load the tendon to increase blood flow to the area to aid in healing.

Sweet, I’m on it. I’ll report back in a few weeks.

You can find forearm/elbow exercises online that will help with both tennis/golfers elbow. They work.

A other option is to look into somewhere with ShockWave therapy. It’s uncomfortable when you get the treatment but the results have helped reduce chronic pain in most people I’ve used it on

Yeah chin ups. Day 2 was this morning. Too early to report any results. So far it’s going like the guy said.
