Andy Ludwig, Warren Ruggiero, or Kirby Moore?

Any ideas who we can steal?

You know we are keeping Sloan, don't you?

We need to keep Sloan, he is young and an elite recruiter. Demoting him back to QBs coach is another option, but it’s unlikely.

I do think we can do better, but we won’t.

No clauses in the contract stating performance based?

I don’t think he’d take that demotion, even if he kept the same pay. I think he’d take a HC gig. His name isn’t as hot now as it was a few weeks ago, but I bet he’s at the top of LA Tech’s list as they’re sure to fire their HC Cumbie.

downvote away but I don’t think Sloan is the main issue here

His calls aren’t preventing the OL from run blocking and they aren’t forcing Garrett into turning the ball over repeatedly

I wouldn’t be mad at a change in OC but I’m not convinced it would solve much

Cumbie.

Lose cannon.

Watched him slap a lineman up side the helmet last year.

He should already be gone.

I agree with you, I think the main problem is QB! If the men on the front line don’t trust him they ain’t gonna block for him. And when they do block for him he screws up more than he makes good plays. Even a blind squirrel finds a acorn now and then

We are far too inconsistent run blocking which of course makes our offense easier to scheme against

Idk what the deal is. I know we are banged up but going into the year the OL was expected to be elite. They looked awful vs bama all night

And yes Nuss is a turnover machine but I do think a lot of that is due to our offensive imbalance

Is it just me; why are we not throwing various screens consistently during the game with Bama putting 8 in the box?

The interior of our Oline simply isn’t good. In run blocking or pass protection. I think they should have slid Jones inside to guard but not sure who you put at right tackle if you do that.

Our OL looks a lot worse than it is in pass pro because our receivers cannot get separation. Lacy is at best a #2 guy. Same for Aaron Anderson. Teams can bring pressure and play man behind it with no consequence. Then they drop out of pressure into zones that Nuss can’t diagnose. On every level this offense has a severe deficiency.

They will probably keep Sloan but may look to add a run game coordinator.

Gabe Fertiitta may be worth bringing in or someone like Alex Ablen the TE coach at Tenn

They need guys born & bred in these type of modern offense

Sloan is def responsible for play design. The running plays being called are his creation. So his calls are preventing the oline from run blocking because they arent good play calls and the reason nuss is an int factory is because of the playcalls being 70% passing plays which let's the defense pin their ears back.

The center is a problematic position and the backup left guard as well. This team is just not very good. Kelly has a long row to hoe. Is he up to it?
