starting Feb. 20, does LSU have the #1 park in the country? I've been to quite a few parks and even played on a few of the SEC fields (camps), and I think this park is 2nd to none. I would also like to get your opinions on what facility is close if not better than the new Alex Box. I think Dudy Noble and Baum Stadium are impressive as well.

Dudy Noble in Starkville is great. I have never been to Arkansas. I have also never been to Auburn's, but was told it was terrific, just smaller.

No doubt best stadium in the country...I've seen it from the inside and it's amazing...still a lot of work to do though

Once they build the berm and possibly an area outside the outfield fence to watch games, then I think we will have the best stadium in the country. To start off with, Arky and Mooooooooo State will probably have a tad better simply because of the atmosphere. However, I think that very quickly the atmosphere at old Alex Box will show up in the new stadium, and that will help our damn strong baseball team stay at the top for a long time.

hell yes...Manieri knows what he's doing too, going to put a good product out on the field and we should be in Omaha this year. Look for Ranaudo to be possibly one of the most dominant pitchers to ever come through LSU. The stadium has already helped recruiting a ton and will continue to do so. LSU baseball is headed in the right direction and will only continue to improve. Baseball is a funny game though, we are going to lose some tough games and fans won't be too happy but that's the nature of baseball I guess

Bingo. LSU really can't claim to have the absolute best stadium, because tradition is usually a significant part of the grading criteria made by stadium connoisseurs, especially for a sport with such a long history as baseball--LSU chose to throw away 70 years of tradition when they decided to demolish the old Box...

I really think the tradition of the old box will carry over to the new. I will be more enthused with this new park. The awesome fans will make this park special, and the berm will be great. I can see where the berm will be packed in super regionals, that is going to be a sight to see.

I know huh, I mean who wants modern amenities to help in recruiting, or make it easier to broadcast games. Or a stadium that holds more people, which could increase revenue to further improve the facilities. New stadium is a terrible move IMO.

i've been to disch-falk and it's definitely impressive. blair field (long beach state) is impressive. very historic. ole miss is putting together a great facility. i've been to plainsman park and it is great. nebraska shares a nice place with a pro team.

i thought witchita st and the arizonas would have better parks than they do. same for miami.

having said all that, there isn't an on-campus facility in america that will be better than the box. maybe ole miss, state and ark are as good, but definitely not better.

Fail.

I guess you believe the Yankees, with all of their World Series championships, have done the same thing.

The atmospheres at Miss St and Ark aren't any better than LSU.

Nothing about Dudy Noble is particulary nice. It is big and unique.

Baum is considered to be the nicest, but the New Box will definitely exceed that. South Carolina's new park may rival LSU's.

He also thinks the New York Football Giants should have stayed at the Polo Grounds.

wow, he may have something. SC's new park is nice, although i'm not sure about the huge outfield wall. Still a very nice ballpark, that one will come down to has a better fanbase and I think the Tigers have that.
