Four Wheelers on WMAs

Are registrations required for ATVs on public lands? Always assumed so and never/very cautiously used mine on WMAs. Would consider going through the process to register it, but its 30+ years old, don't have any documentation, title, etc to go with it.
State law reads that they need to be registered for use on public highways/roads, but couldn’t find anything in WMA regulations aside from tire restrictions and speed limits etc. Never seen a ticket handed out but most people I see have a registration sticker on theirs

I've brought mine out to Sherburne before and have never registered one. Been checked by the game wardens a couple times and they never even asked.
I know this doesn't really answer your question, just my experience.

Tire size regulation but not sure how strictly that’s enforced

It is on Bodcau...
26X12 on ATVs, 27X12 on UTVs. Heaven forbid you have 27's on an ATV...

This as well as on federal NWRs.

The Greenjeans on Russell Sage are pretty anal about tire size but more anal about where you can and can’t ride plus being in there too early.
