It's looking like he is, the real question is when he is offered, Will he honor his commitment to Bama. Or follow his dream to be a Tiger.

with Nevis, Pep, Downs, and Sentimore, LSU would be set at 3-tech for a LONG time.

I really don't see the need. Downs is clearly a DT now. Are we going to take 4DTs?

If you saw him dominate WM in the finals, then you would see

If we were willing to offer/have a spot open for out of state DTs that we had an uphill battle for, then we can now afford to offer that same spot for an instate DT that is a grade risk.

In the article I read he said he will honor his Bama commitment even if offered by LSU. Why are some confident he'd make the switch?

Because he wanted to go to LSU all along, but we never offered.

he has been a lsu fan all his life. If he goes to bama we will regret it. Just like nick harris, frank alexander. He should have been pursued, but i understand why we didn't. Plus 2 DT's in downs and davenport along with hicks is already great.

I am guessing that the feeling is that since he is a LIFELONG Tiger fan that he would switch. His statement could have been made because of sour grapes...

Yeah now that I think about it, he said that when he committed.

My guess is the Miles has been telling him all along that he should get his grades in order and we would offer.

We will downplay that he may have been a third option when we lost JM and Campbell.

DS was the most dominent defensive player i saw at the state champ games and if we got him it would be awsome. i thought lsu would get one of the big name DT's (besides davenport) but I think DS would be a good fit in Tiger Stadium

He was the best player on the field in the 5A State Championship Game, Period!!! He was a 1 man wrecking crew and dominated the entire game from start to finish!!
Also the LB from Destrehan, Roufus Porter was awesome as well. He may not be the biggest and have the most stars as far as rating but he is awesome as well. Not to mention his dad played 12 years in the NFL so you know he has been taught from a young age.

I keep hearing how dominant he was in the championship game, but he did pretty much nothing in the second round against Ruston... What gives? The LT from Ruston planted him on many occasions and I only recall him making 1 tackle. #99 of DHS and #92 of RHS looked much better than he did in that game.
