Better than my situation. For my off-duty work I get a 10-99, so I have to pay income tax AND both halves of the social security tax because I'm "self-employed". The kicker is that I won't be able to draw SS because of the government pension offset. So, I get to pay 24% income tax PLUS another 13% involuntary donation to social security. By the time that I pay income tax, SS, and the sales taxes on anything that I buy, the government confiscates $0.45 of every dollar that I earn. Then they have the gall to tell me that I'm not paying my fair share. Bastards.

Yeah no shite. No tax on OT will earn me about another $35,000 a year.
