It absolutely is true. He was a 2* who chose LSU over Nicholls State. Was the 65th rated player in the state. Signed in July 2017 as a class of 2017 freshman ( that’s 2 months before kickoff FYI)

He signed that late because he wasn’t eligible until the summer. He was a grade risk and needed the summer to get eligible for a 4 year school.

And was a 2* who was on Orgeron’s radar because one of his brothers convinced O to go watch him during his senior year.
LSU told him they would hold a spot for him, but he wasn’t on their board before that.

Even O said he wanted Jefferson after he camped prior to his sr year after he saw him run a slogo route
