I mistakenly read this board before watching Season 1….I’ve tried to watch it as a “seperate” idea from Tolkien’s creation. Just watching as a new fantasy show. I thought Season 1 was bad. I honestly have no idea why I even watched S2. But I did and it was much, much better, even bordering on being really good.

I tried that too but the amount of attempted callbacks and centralizing lore that they butchered wouldn’t allow my brain to ignore. S1 was awful but the battle episode wasn’t as bad so I thought it may improve, then I started S2 and it took me forever to get through 2 episodes. EP3 just kept getting worse and even though I told myself I’d fight through like S1 I just couldn’t.

Aragorn went in the water. She hit the ground and The Hobbit was shite just like Rings of Power.
And she fell further than all of them combined into the ground. Her limbs would have exploded off of her body. Immortal doesn't mean impervious to bodily harm.

this bum is only telling you half the story. Let me put it in terms you might understand.
Think about if Ole Miss football went 1-11 last year and this year they went 3-9 with a last second hail mary win to end the season. One season was better than the other but it was still a shitty season.
