Its pretty good IMO, we would have 10 players in this list in the 100 provided we land randle and montgomery, The only thing that jumps out at me is shep is a top 5 player, which some others thought as well. Just thought it would be interesting since it's kind of slow. Minter, downs, faulk, ford should all move up. THe only one i see that might drop is davenport. Some are saying downs might get a fifth as well. Ford probably will

You have Fluker and Boyd too low and Ford too high. Also, where is Mingo?

if you are going to have Shep at ATH, you cant have him out of the top 5 but if you have him at QB I can see him at 13

jelani jenkins in the forties. yea this opinion is pretty worthless...

burfict, mcdaniel, gilbert, okafor - what exactly did they do at the AA games to move up? i wasn't extremely impressed by any of them.

JJ27 when the new rankings come out. I would expect ford to recieve a big bump. They just got video on much of his senior season that has yet to be evaluated. Some speculation is ***** for ford.

might be off a little but it shows alot of love for lsu recruits. Jenkins is too low i agree and shep as a athlete is top 5. I don't think davenport will drop that far, but he will drop. dre kirk is probably too low as well.

Good bump is one thing. No way does a kid that didn't play in either the AAA or UA games jump 40 spots in the Rivals 100 though. I love Ford and love he's coming to LSU. I just don't see 40 spots without going to either of the prolific games and going off.

its really all opinion anyway. DOwns has been the number 4 DT on espn forever now. Rivals has him as #30 DT. Same thing with faulk. Ford is the number 2 RB on scout on rivals he is like 7

1. Matt Barkley-QB >> not going to happen. I seriously doubt they change #1 again. RR played well even though he was stil hurt.
2. Rueben Randle-WR
3. Bryce Brown-RB
4. Vontaze Burfict-LB >> a little high
5. Jacobbi McDaniel-DT >> a little high
6. Devon Kennard-DE
7. Garrett Gilbert-QB >> a little high
8. Alex Okafor-DE >> a little high
9. DJ Fluker-OL >> correct
10. Manti Te’o-LB >> a little low
11. Donte Moss-DE >> correct
12. Sheldon Richardson-DT >> too low. he will be right at the top 5.
13. Russell Shepard-ATH >> too low. should be around 6-8.
14. Branden Smith-CB >> too high. 20s.
15. Craig Loston-S >> about right give or take a spot or 2.
16. Nico Johnson-LB >> too high
17. Trent Richardson-RB >> too low
18. Willie Downs-ATH >> little high, but not unbelievable after his AAA performance
19. Logan Thomas-TE >> good bit too high. I think he is in the 40s.
20. Darius Winston-CB >> little high, could see him losing 5th star.
21. Andre Debose-WR >> slightly low, just about right.
22. Corey Brown-S
23. Janzen Jackson-CB >> shouldn't move.
24. JaMarkus McFarland-DT >> about right
25. Jarvis Jones-LB >> too high.
26. Mason Walters-OL >> a little too high
27. TJ McDonald-S >> I am a big fan of this kid. Next Taylor Mays IMO. I think this is a little on the high side, but I could see him sneaking up into the low 30s.
28. Patrick Hall-S >> too low, top 15 caliber
29. Gary Brown-DT >> a little high, even with his great UA performance.
30. Williams Campbell-DT >> little low
31. Rolando Jefferson-WR
32. Randall Carroll-WR >> slightly low, belongs around 24ish.
33. Ryne Giddins-DE
34. Dre Kirkpatrick-CB >> too low, top 15 guy.
35. Christine Michael-RB >> I'd have him in the low 40s.
36. Michael Ford-RB >> about right, low 40s.
37. Kevin Brent-S >> little high, "disappeared" some at AAA practice. high 50s.
38. Patrick Patterson-WR >> too high, doesn't have the speed to be a 6.0 4 star. belongs in the 70s.
39. CJ Mizell-LB
40. Dorian Bell-LB >> too low, this guy can play. probably mid 20s.
41. Jelani Jenkins-LB >> Is this a joke? Jenkins is a freak at age 16, hes a top 15 player no questions asked.
42. Ray Ray Armstrong-ATH >> seems about right
43. David Wilson-RB
44. Sam Montgomery-DE >> too high, got beat a good bit at UA, should be in 70s or 80s.
45. Xavier Nixon-OL >> about right
46. Ronnell Lewis-LB
47. Malicah Goodman-DE >> too low.
48. Chris Davenport-DT >> I think this is about right (I am sure people will hate on me for that), maybe low 40s at the highest.
49. Jamie Wood-S >> too low, this guy can play with the best in the country, should be high 20s
50. Chris Whaley-RB >> about right, big bruiser of a back
51. Gabe Lynn-CB >> a little low, gets overshadowed in a ridiculous class of DBs
52. Demonte McAllister-DE >> great spot for him, he played his tail off in the UA game, maybe a little high
53. Tajh Boyd-QB >> great AAA game, but I wouldn't have him quite so high.
54. Demario Jeffrey-S
55. Greg Reid-CB >> great UA game, but size is an issue. Too high, I'll say he should be in the 70s
56. Byron Moore-CB >> correct, good prospect
57. Chris Faulk-OL >> maybe a little low, but no huge argument here
58. Rodney Smith-WR >> too high
59. Jheranie Boyd-WR >> little low
60. Cierre Wood-RB >> too low should be 40s-50s
61. Nick Alajajian-OL
62. Anthony Lalota-DT
63. Eric Shrive-OL
64. Chris Watt-OL
65. Joshua Downs-DT >> too high, belongs around 120s
66. Donavan Tate-ATH
67. Marlon Brown-WR >> slightly low, but guy needs a lot of polishing.
68. Cliff Harris-CB >> WAY too low, guy should be in high 40s at least.
69. Abry Jones-DT >> seems fair.
70. Calvin Howell-DT >> little low
71. Montez Robinson-DE >> low
72. Fletcher Cox-DE
73. Darrington Sentimore-DT >> character makes him drop just out top 100
74. Kevin Minter LB >> seems fair, maybe slightly high.
75. Justin Turner-S >> about right, maybe a little low
76. Tyler Stockton-DT
77. Aaron Murray-QB >> I can agree with this b/c of height issue. Maybe in the 50s.
78. Eddie Lacy-RB >> too high with character and grade issues.
79. Melvin Fellows-DE >> too low, belongs much higher
80. Shayne Skov-LB >> guy is a stud, plays with heart and emotion. Great looking LB, Stanford got a very good one, I'll say mid 40s
81. Edwin Baker-RB >> He should be above Lacy, near Whaley
82. Morrell Pressley-TE >> too low, #1 TE in the country
83. Lamar Miller-RB
84. Marcus Davis-CB
85. Cody Green-QB
86. Terry Hawthorne-WR >> seems reasonable, had a very good UA game, was the "go to guy"
87. Devonte Holloman-S
88. Darrell Givens-CB
89. Morgan Moses-OL
90. Jon Bostic-LB
91. Marquis Simmons-LB
92. Zeke Motta-LB
93. Jawanza Starling-S
94. Jamal Reid-CB
95. Chris Burnette OL
96. Greg Timmons-WR >> too low, he is a better prospect than Pat Patterson. I'd have him in the 60s.
97. David Barrent-OL
98. Marcus Hall-OL >> too low. Should be in the 50s at least
99. Alan Bridgford-QB >> too high
100. Bryce McNeal-WR >> too high

Thats my opinion on the rankings.

I disagree with a lot of them, but normally only by about 10-15 spots in one way or the other (which is 10-15% since we are only talking about the top 100 spots).

i think you are uninformed.

Down: Marlon Brown, WR, Harding Academy/Memphis, Tenn., Undecided Brown came into the week as the top UA All-American receiver but really didn't do much in practice to justify it. While his overall size and body strength was really impressive in person, he showed just adequate burst out of his breaks and top-end speed after the catch. Brown obviously made an early statement in the UA game itself showing better speed in the second level and big play ability. While he may be a gamer we still feel his play is inconsistent. There is no questioning his striking frame and big hands as an outside receiver prospect, but we thought we would see more fluidity, explosiveness and game breaking ability deserving of a No. 2 overall receiver. While still an impressive athlete for his size, he just did not flash the game changing ability we expected to see and at times blended in with the pack.

just one guys opinion but we have nothing else to go on expect these opinions. did the slant he took to the house come from a db falling down or something?

Dre Kirkpatrick will not drop that far if at all, despite the fractured hand he was pretty solid in the game and during the week. 15 at worst

Christine Michael had a good week and I don't see him really falling.

Nico had a great week and game, but I don't see him jumping that high

Trent Richardson was dominant in practices and even though he didn't get many carries in the game he was still impressive in blocking. He won't fall, at least not out of the top 10.
