Anybody want to coach WNBA? Anybody?

ESPN hid this gem in their story about the Sun firing their HC. So I had to see what sport they were talking about.
This has to be some kind of record. Beyond that, who cares?

I mean. I guess so. The extra attention this year and seeing how much one team can turn things around has owners looking for better results.

They all just need their own Cait.
Easy peasy.

Good luck with that.

FWIW, Stephanie’s departure from the Sun was a mutual decision. I don’t know if she wants to coach the Fever or take some time away from coaching, but she was ready to leave the Sun (philosophical differences).

She's 100% going to the Fever. She wants to be closer to home and coach Clark

Never watched the WNBA in my life.
Until Caitlin Clark. You wanted to see what she could do....and she wasn't in a Russian Prisoner tatted up.
She's the best female basketball player of all-time because people care to watch HER.
Salty Swoopes? Nobody cared. Every coach should be lining up to hop on the CC train....this is the biggest no-brainer in women sports history. The League might finally be realizing they have to change their agendas and kick some to the curb.

I think so too. She was a heck of a player at Purdue and with Carolyn Peck coaching, that was a high hoops IQ team they had.

Has to be pretty difficult to fill these positions with college coaches with their season just about to start.

There’s a bunch of college coaches that make more than the highest paid WNBA coach.
The WNBA tops out at $1M, but most are making closer to $500K.

I could be a shitty coach for 500K

Even if someone gave me a million dollars a year to coach a wnba team, I still wouldn’t do it.
