What if they changed the nba finals and World Series to have to win by 2 games

Say it’s 3-3 game 7. Instead of that deciding it all you just play another game and if you win then you play 2 more. Imagine a 24 game World Series

Obviously you still go to at least 4. You have to win a 7 game series by 2.

I get baseball needing 7 games - probably could do it in 5 - because of pitching, but the NBA could do a 2 out of 3 and be done. 7 games watching the same players is dull.
