Are Liberals weak minded folks who can be susceptible to being hypnotized?

This got me thinking. I have one family member who was hypnotized during a festival, where a hypnotist did a set, and a number of people got hypnotized. Ironically, she is the only one in attendance in our family that succumbed to the hypnotic. She is also the only one in the family that has liberal views. I often think of liberals and those who believe all the crap spewed by the leftist media as weak minded individuals. Is my niece being so easily hypnotized as an example of how their minds can be easily manipulated? It sure would be an interesting study to see if this has any validity.

I may not agree with everything Trump says, but to me, it doesn’t make sense that normal people can support some of the left’s most outlandish policies such as transitioning rights to illegals, hormonal therapy for kids, and trans rights in sports.
These policies show no rational thought, and don’t make sense for anyone to support other than anarchists or someone who is heavily detatched from reality.

There's a couple of factors that pop into my head.
One is that liberals are more open to suggestions, just out of habit.
Two is soy intake. Too much soy affects the chemicals in the brain. Low soy can increase testosterone/estrogen levels. Too much decreases testosterone levels, and weakens the chemicals in the brain that increase constructive thinking. Which could make somebody more susceptible to suggestion, I suppose.

I don’t know about the hypnotizing part but anyone who believes government is the answer to problems is indeed a weak minded individual.

Liberals (and autistic people) have higher degree of trait openness. In nice terms it means they are open to new ideas, experiences, etc.. In my personal view, it also means they lack basic skepticism. Both my mom and my mother in law (Total LIBS) also fell for that B.S. Animal Planet (fake) 2012 documentary on Mermaids which, according to the documentary, were found to really exist. Its also very difficult to convince them they have been fooled.

They live by what their emotions tell them to do. It’s not that hard to fool someone with no ability for rational thought
