Is this not the GOAT vacation, at least for holidays. Gotta be overflowing with cash to do this.

I don’t think it is. It’s fine. I’d much rather be in a smaller mountain town or Europe.
I’ve been in New York on or right around Christmas 5-6 times and it’s always ok.
I’ll be in New York December 19-21 again this year, and it will be fine. But GOAT holiday vacation? Not even close IMO.

Depends where you are, I guess. Midtown around Christmas is an absolute fricking nightmare, but fine to be everywhere else. My family lives in the city and Westchester, but I avoid anything Midtown at Christmas. Will be there December 18-26 this year.

Maybe for some. Mine would be Christmas vacation on a ski slope out west.
