I know, LSU just needs to win their games & let the rest take care of itself, but it’s fun to consider the possible scenarios.

That would put the rest of the SEC finishing at 6-2 at best & LSU could still finish 10-2 (7-1) headed to the SEC CG with a shot at #1 Texas. Just can’t lose one of these next 2, especially A&M.

what's the point of a 10-2 LSU going to the CC game in a 12 man format? If LSU loses, that would put us out wouldn't it?

Uh...what?

If you beat A&M, we could still win out and finish 7-1.

If UGA loses, that means Texas won, and if they won all of the rest of their games except the one at A&M they would be 7-1.

Also, out of curiosity, who do you have LSU losing to? A&M's your toughest challenge, on the road after two really tough SEC games.

You don’t leave the #2 SEC team out of the playoffs just bc they lose the SEC CG. 10-3 isn’t worse than 10-2

I know; I wasn't disagreeing. I was just pointing out the minor fallacy in your statement.

We'll see who's laughing on 10/26 and 11/30.

Stating that A&M would be 6-2 by also saying we get a shot at #1 Texas.
I mean come on, A&M lost to Notre Dame

It doesn’t matter. Win the next two & their toughest remaining games are all at home. They’re not going to lose two, so 7-1 at best. Possibly 11-1, 8-0

I mean do you not want to win an SEC Championship? pretty sure you have to play in the game in order to win it

Why are we having a discussion about this. Let the games play out.

Just about a week ago, the majority of this board thought LSU would go 8-4 on the year at best.

What’s the point of even having SEC championship game? Both #1 and #2 likely in the 12 team format, regardless. Loss to either on this game could knock one of them out.
