Any suggestions on restaurants and things to do? First time going, excited to see Arkansas.

NW Arkansas is a wonderful place. Hard to get to, but a hidden gem. Tons of serious money (WalMart, Tyson, etc.), good schools, awesome outdoor activities/topography.

I do not remember the names of the restaurants though, sorry! We hiked a couple trails though and it was great.

The Daisy airgun museum is in Rogers, AR. Crystal Bridges is a really nice museum as well. NWA is a really nice area. There's caves to explore, really nice scenery, especially since the foliage should be starting to turn.

I'd live there in a heartbeat. I tell people that all the time and no one believes me who hasn't visited. Cool place.

Made the trip in 23’, BK first year. Left home and it was 82. Stayed in Fort Smith. Ate at great Italian restaurant (Taliano’s) Fri night. Woke up Saturday morning to snow and 25!!! Gorgeous drive up to Fayetteville that morning and the return trip. Parked across from the baseball stadium and took shuttle to the stadium. Brushed about 4” snow off bleacher seats. Glad it was a dry snow!! Great trip although game was too close for comfort. Ate at Doe’s Sat night in Fort Smith listening to end of BAMA game that won us the West (think it was BAMA game). Glad Jefferson couldn’t play. Safe travels and GEAUX TIGAHS!!

I’ve lived here just over a year. Great place to live but not much to do as a tourist. I’ll be going to the game, first since Ole Miss 2017.

Steaks: Gaskin’s in Springdale, Herman’s, Bocca or Bordino’s in FYV
BBQ: Wright’s in Johnson, Central or Whole Hog in FYV
Cajun: Cafe Rue Orleans in FYV
Pizza: Pizzaria Ruby in Johnson,MJ’s or Odd Soul in Springdale
Italian: Renzo’s in FYV, Venesian Inn in Tontitown
Thai: Thai Spice in FYV, Thai Taste in Springdale
Mexican: tons of great taquerias in Springdale

Additionally lots of great places in Bentonville and Rogers
Tusk and Trotter, The Rail, Blu Seafood, AOI Sushi

Things to do: Crystal Bridges museum, Golfing, Dickson Street Bars, great mountain biking and walking trails.

If you’re driving up, consider driving the Pig Trail from Ozark to Fayetteville. Nice scenic drive but the 10 mph curves ARE 10 mph curves.

I’ve lived up here for 30+ years. This is a short list.

Eureka Springs is a very short drive away and definitely worth the trip, as stated before NWA is beautiful! Hell, if you have time Branson ,MO is relatively close as well
