Would be totally surprised if he doesn't but you never know with Les. (i.e. Jefferson) He looks raw but obviously talented.

I AGREE 100%... everyone wants to see some young freshman burst onto the scene and light things up but could you imagine him with JJ as a junior and he is a red shirt freshman. Fans are selfish though and it will never happen

I actually don't think this should be deleted. I see where he's coming from. Vince Young was redshirted, why not RS?

If he wants to play nothing but QB he'll red shirt. If he's willing to play other positions he won't and will be backing up JJ.

Only way Shepard redshirts is if he gets injured.

RS should do what he's asked to do by Miles and the rest of the coaching staff.

I think it's funny that everyone watches a half of a game and knows what is best for RS. Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds?

YOU can look at his mechanics and see what kind of QB he was gonna be. you mean to tell me you couldnt look at hatch and tell he couldnt throw the ball deep with a 10 yard head start

Are you a coach? I'm not... has the kid even put one foot on LSU's campus to learn from our QB coach? I'm sure you could pull up a highlight film were he looks great passing the ball.

I watched Fox sports every friday and watched a lot of his highlight tapes. he had a top recruit at RB and his recievers were wide open becasue of their running game. He im not downing his ability but if you watched the practices and skills challenge you can tell the difference between him and barkley
