Older 2WD EZ Go. Great cart but time for new batteries. Lithium is not an option. Cart is basically used to drop off at stands, pick up peeps after hunt, and haul meat back.

It is used every weekend and is not a toy.

Any feedback on battery recommendations is appreciated

Trojan is the best lead acid but you’ll pay for em. The US2200 is great and cheaper. I just replaced mine with the US ones.

Out of curiosity why is it not an option?

You can get lithium and a new charger online for the similar amount of money you would spend on just good lead batteries.

Cart is 20 years old and would rather invest $$ in a new cart.

Lithium set up is probably what the cart is worth on the market

Recently did my old EZGO TXT 36 volt with 3 Weize 12V 55AH Deep Cycle Battery UB12550 for Power Scooter Wheelchair Mobility Emergency UPS System Trolling MotorWeize 12V 55AH Deep Cycle Battery UB12550 .
Gets over 10 mile range & uses same charger. Cheap option & works great so far.

Bought on Amazon for like $310 total. You can also move up to 100AH batteries for more range for a few dollars more.

After you get your batteries look into a solar tender/charger system i put the panel strips on my roof and it has 3 different charge settings from .03 amp, 2amp and 10amp . Heaven sent. I haven't hooked up my reg charger all summer. Weekend golfer and kids are neighborhood riders. have recommended it to everyone i see and those that have installed all rant and rave about it.

Sams Club Duracell Batteries. These are great and will last you a number of years. Check the water often.
