With Major Burns playing safety the rest of the season? Maybe it will work?

Toviano hasn't played that many downs this year.

My question would be, is he now going to be the #1 at Star? (if not, why even mention it in regard to Burns?)

Burns seeing less playing time, however that may be, is a good thing. A freshman with no snaps that weighs 145 lbs would be better at this point. Burns is really bad at football.

Let's play tItalian Stallion at Star and move Major Burns to the Student Section for the rest of the season please. Sage Ryan as well.

Thank you.

If Major Burns is put in a position to cover guys against Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin is going to target him relentlessly. Their 30 year old tight end is going to have a huge game.

The less I see Burns, the happier I am. He’s awful

A hybrid position. Think about it as playing a Safety at Outside Line Backer

I don’t. I think he’s moving back there to play behind Sage, Spears, and Gilbert.

To me that quote says that Toviano will strictly play Star but does not indicate that he will necessarily start. The "that would let Major Burns move back to safety again IF NECESSARY." part of the quote leads me to believe that Burns is still the starting Star unless Toviano proves he can play the position and/or the deep safeties don't take the step that BK is looking for in the bye week.

It's definitely not a drop linebacker. Nosireebob.
