I’ve been to the Burbank Soccer park ponds - never anything biting there. Went to Wadill ponds a couple of times - caught one tiny green sunfish.

Where are some good places to go around town for bank fishing?

The north sherwood brec park has brim and I don't think it is pressured as much as other ponds and not nearly as pressured as Wadill

Try the blackwater conservation in Central. I’ve never fished in that pond, but I see people catching lots of panfish and catfish out of that pond. Also can try Lamar Dixon in Gonzales.

Thanks. Lamar-Dixon is also a place I’ve been with no luck. But it is on my way home from work, so I keep going there anyway :)

I’ve seen lots of people fishing off Airline going towards Lutcher in that little bayou that runs alongside the road, that runs into Blind River. I feel like that’d be a good area for panfish.

That area had a bad fish kill with Francine, will be a couple years before it comes back.

We had a scout campout there a few years back. Must've been 50+ poles in the water. Only about 5 kids caught one fish each.
