Want to take family next summer, don’t know anything about it. We like to do some exploring on our own, but also like doing excursions. Looking for a resort type with beach and nice pool. Never been and don’t know which island is best, where to stay. We did Kaua’i this summer and nothing will compare, but can’t swing that every year. TIA

Check out the Cove, Eleuthera.

Also, look at the Abacos. Abacos beach club is decent. Nothing extraordinary but you can rent a boat and do your own exploring.

I’ll try to post some more when I have a minute. What’s your budget?

we're looking at houses on Exuma for next summer currently.

I am looking at sitting my arse on these sand bars and drinking many $50 cases of beer.

Been to the Exumas a few times. Flew into Georgetown airport. Stayed in Hartswell. My favorite vacation.

Rented a house called casa Bella. There is a sandals there but i recommend a house and renting a boat to explore islands and sand bars that are completely empty. It’s incredible.

We took the kids to Exuma with another family over Easter. It was awesome and very relaxing.

Got a house on the water

We rented a van from a place at the Georgetown airport and drove to some beaches and places to eat. Island has beautiful beaches , very basic places to eat and very friendly people. We were looking for a relaxing , sit on the beach most days and chill and it was exactly that.

Was a great trip. Did Chat N Chill one day, swam with the pigs excursion another.
