You would be better off at Atchafalaya or Ellendale.

I play Atchafalaya around 5 times a month when I’m down there for work. Greens are getting in much better shape than they were. Some tee boxes are still temporarily moved. It’s an awesome and fun course. I recommend getting out there.

St. Mary is open to the public. 9 holes. Greens are immaculate and fast/true right now. Best shape it's been in in years.

It’s a cool arse place. The clubhouse is awesome, the golf carts are camo wrapped, and the yardage stakes are fake cypress knees.

I think you'll be disappointed going to Atchafalaya, but I haven't been out there since June so I don't know just how much better the greens and tee boxes have improved since then.

St. Mary’s is an awesome place. Great greens, even better staff/members, give it a try you won’t regret it
