Cubs/White Sox record watch

What I haven’t heard with the hoopla about Obama’s White Sox maybe having the worst record ever in baseball, is that the Cubs are going for the biggest ever win differential for one Chicago team over the other…
The biggest ever was set in 1932, when the Cubs, with 90 wins and the pennant, finished with 41 more wins than the White Sox, who finished 49-102
Right now the Cubs have 76 wins (barely over .500) and the Sox have 35…
The White Sox record is +30, set in 1901, 1954, and 2000
The Cubs also have seasons of +36, +39, and two that are +33…

How did I miss Obama buying the White Sox?

I got rid of MLB TV a few weeks ago and of course the Cubs have kind of been on a tear since.

Obama
He liked the GM of the White Sox, who was Kenny Williams

Sox are riding a 2-game winning streak!

They just tied a post 1900 record with 120 losses.

Bump…
The barely over .500 Cubs still set this record, with an 83-79 record, 42 wins over the 41-121 White Sox…

Kind of hilarious that we won 5 of our last 6 games. Wish we had won the 6th to avoid the record, but c'est la vie.
I guess I'll keep putting up with this shite until I'm dead. Go-go White Sox...
