Why are so many metal bands playing Biloxi over New Orleans lately? I can't imagine there's a ton of Dream Theater fans in southern Mississippi.

I don’t think they’ve been to New Orleans since the Falling into Infinity tour. The last time I saw them was in Biloxi and it may have been half full. I’ll be at the Houston show this time around.

The Coliseum has been aggressively booking some major acts in recent years. The strange thing in this case, though, is that DT is going to be playing a casino.

DT played at the Hard Rock right before Covid shutdowns for the Scenes from a Memory tour - but there was no standing section then.

Saw them in Houston on the Systematic Chaos tour. They were amazing! Best sounding concert I’d been to in years. Will try to catch them again in Houston.

They played HoB twice during original Scenes from a Memory tour. Haven’t been back since.

I saw Dream Theater on the Images and Words tour at Storyville in 1992. There were only 12 people at the show. We took the band to the Dungeon afterwards, had a great time with those guys.
