WNBA just can't help themselves again; Leaves Caitlin Clark Off Official MVP Ladder

Soap opera level catty and petty....Everything you want running your sports league or country.
Arguably the Most Valuable Player in WNBA history considering everything on the floor and off, the WNBA doesn't see it that way. Famous and popular in their own eyes before CC arrived. They want the eyeballs, increased salaries and private jets but NOT because of her.
The Fever have already won more games this season than the last two combined.
These two other players are in the Top 5 for MVP but Clark is honorable mention:
Caitlin Clark this season:
1st in AST
5th in PTS
"No player in WNBA history has finished top 10 in PTS while being the outright leader in AST."
On pace to break the records for both:
Most 3-pointers in a season
Most Assists in a season
"Clark tied New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu when it comes to most career 25+ point, 10+ assist games . Caitlin's career of course has been less than a season long."

Alright’s get the record straight in the shortest way possible:
1. Caitlyn is by far the biggest name in the WNBA and is their most popular player of all time.
2. Caitlyn is probably 2 seasons away from being in the discussion for the best WNBA player, if not outright. She’ll go down as the greatest player in WNBA history if she cares enough to do so.
3. A’ja Wilson is by far the best player in the WNBA right now and there isn’t a single player close to her. She leads the league in PER at 36.2; second is at 25.9. She leads the WNBA in win shares with 10.2 (IN A 40 GAME SEASON!); second is at 7.7.
We a love Caitlyn and rightfully so, but she does not belong in the MVP discussion at this time. She will win her well deserved ROTY award as she is the greatest rookie basketball player of the 21st century and we will all be proud of her.

This is your MVP and it's not even close.

A'ja should be mvp.
Realize this is Caitlins first wnba season and she is shattering records.
Queen Cait will be mvp soon.

CC is one of the biggest stars in sports. The numbers don’t lie.

They'd rather the league fail than a white person help it succeed.
That level of racial hatred is hard to even fathom but that's the reality.

Once she wins MVP, no one will care anymore.
It’s a ploy, so you have a reason to watch next season and debate CC/MVP/race/etc.

It’s quite comical.. I’ve watched wnba this year more than I’ve watched total since it’s inception.. every game I’ve seen is a Fever game and she’s clearly a top player in the league. They’ve been a top tier team over the second half of the season and she’s clearly one of the top overall players.. all this pettiness only pushes me away and less likely to care after this season.

Who votes on the MVP Ladder and how often is it updated?

the old guard in the WNBA is still desperately trying to lie and control the narrative.
the old guard being liberal, butch lesbian's who have controlled that pathetic charity cause of a league for a quarter of a century and only want people like them getting shine.

You realize this thread isn’t really about who the mvp should be, right?
I’m sure you still think Reese should be in the running. Even though she actually made her team worse this year than last lol

Who cares? A'ja Wilson has MVP on lock.

I read it. I don;t agree w/you. She's not going to come close to winning so it doesn't matter one iota.

Because she’s nowhere near as good as A’ja Wilson.
Let me put it in NBA terms. A’ja is having a Nikola Jokic MVP-season level season this year. Caitlyn is having a Luka Doncic-esque rookie season.
