I hope that the message to these DB's is that they can play early and often. I hope we see more of that during the season...

Did you see which sideline Jahkeem was on during the game Sunday?

Yup, totally agreed. I want to see Stamps and Woodland starting outside, Toviano at the STAR, Allen + Jackson at Safety. Let the kids play.

From what I've read, the early playing time has been a big part of the pitch to Pickett, Phillips and Anding. And given how they're physically the types of guys Raymond wants on the boundaries, there's no reason they can't step right in as freshman (a la Stingley).

California is a shite hole. The people and businesses are leaving like crazy. He is going to transfer after 1 year just like Tackett Curtis.

On the other thread about Stewart on this board posters are saying Stewart is done at St. Aug, will transfer to IMG, where he can graduate early and then enroll early at USC. 2 posters with apparent good sauce, according to Lester Earl, are saying its happening.

1970sPurpleKnight and 5Alive are the posters saying they've heard he's done at St. Aug, going to IMG, then to USC. Just giving info so yall don't say I'm just making stuff up. It's in the thread titled (Jahkeem Stewart/ St. Aug) about Stewart VS Shaw game last weekend

I would think he would go to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) instead of IMG (Florida) if USC is the final destination.

Why? Just bc BG is closer to California? Why would that matter? Lol. IMG he'll get elite facilities to train at and, I'm assuming his main concern, be able to graduate early so he can enroll early in college. Hopefully LSU can talk him out of it but from the sound of the posters it's already a done deal. Fuqing sucks

I think Bishop Gorman has better teams than IMG of late. It's basically IMG West.

It’s not really about better teams. Both get top notch exposure. It’s not about location either, both are far from home. A few people have said he wants to graduate early, and St Aug is preventing him from doing it. He’s trying to get to NIL quicker.

If he does in fact transfer highschools, it’s not a great sign. That would again mean proximity to home isn’t going to be a factor for college, which hurts us. Also, if he’s not loyal to St. Aug, the relationships we have there probably aren’t going to be as effective as usual.

Don't really care. Definitely pay attention to recruiting and it would suck to lose Stewart but I don't think at any point in any LSU success or failure was a result complete due to the decision of one person. I will not grade any position coach, recruiting coach, or team recruiting results based on one person. Even moreso now with NIL. I care about the collective over the prospect. The collective is very positive right now regardless of what happens to Stewart.

Then he shouldn't go to USC. USC is in a shitty part of town. If you want Rodeo Drive, it's UCLA

You think it’s difficult to convince a kid that goes to St Aug in New Orleans that Los Angeles isn’t a better landing spot than Baton Rouge to spend his college years?

I’m all for state pride but let’s wake up a little bit here.

Exactly! We will have to go in another state and pluck a big time End to save face. Because to lose a kid this good in our state at a position of need is something.
